This project, in collaboration with Miller Hare, aimed to create three selling images of a location in Kings Cross, London. Miller Hare provided base models, while we handled materials, lighting, camera angles, and concept. We had approximately three weeks to complete the task.

Brief: The assignment requires the creation of two broad descriptive views and one detailed "vignette" view of a site or building. These views should highlight the site's essence and integration with its surroundings. To select the space and architecture, you will need to carefully review the information provided, conduct online research, and select a location that resonates and allows for creating high-quality images. The chosen location should effectively promote its features to potential residents, visitors and anyone interested to engage with all that Kings Cross has to offer.

I was assigned the residential area featuring the Gasholders by WilkinsonEyre. They integrate the heavy industrial aesthetic of the original cast-iron frames with contemporary residential design, creating unique urban homes that honor their historical roots while offering modern luxury.
Two scheduled feedback sessions were held during the project, the first of which focused on camera angles and composition, presenting three different angles for each shot.
Three concepts/moods for one of the images were presented in the second session. They picked the third one.
Moody, wet October evening - One person walks his dog in the gloomy weather, while everyone else seems to be staying indoors.
For the second picture I was allowed to freely use an appropriate concept, I decided on a late summer evening. As shown in the breakdown video, the canal area was not modeled, so I used a reference image in an attempt to recreate it myself.
